Hannahs "Work In Progress" Hangout!

Good Morning everyone!!! Newbie here saying a big hello to you today on this fabulous Saturday morning! Double celebration for me...So very happy to be joining you today and also my Birthday!

Today I chose the school theme and made a door sign!  This was made using the gorgeous digi by Heather Valentin called Hannah

Printed on Rymans white glossy paper I used promarker colours :
Rose Pink, Hearthstone, Vanilla, Sleigh Bell, Fresh Blossom, Pale Pink, April shower, Peony, Coral and caramel

Here is a close up version of the finished coloured image..isn't she adorable! Gorgeous and very cool! Using an mdf pre cut hanger I inked over it with the promarker rose pink and added some gorgeous papers by Hazy Days. The punch that I used was a Martha Stewart. Buttons etc were from my stash.
To add a finishing touch I distressed round the outside of the finished piece with Victorian Velvet distress ink and give a liberal spray of gold glitter by crafters companion.  "Work In Progress" was then complete.
Check out my blog for more inspiration!
Vibrant, zingy and modern! Hope you like my first piece!
Until next time
Love mich

victorian Octavia Melancholy

good morning to you all Caroline here with you today. i thought i would share with you today Octavia, she is such a little darling and was a pleasure to color. I wanted to keep the whole feel summery even though the weather here in the north east of the uk has turned quiet chilly, defiantly autumn weather.
I have used  my graphit markers  to color her in
skin 4175, 4155, 4145, 4120
hair1250, 1150, 1130, 1110
dress, flowers and feather 5130, 5120,5110
coat 3250, 3245 and 3210
I used little tiny gems on her hat and in her hair and a couple on her dress.
I have used backing  paper from a vintage/travel scrapbook pad by crelando which i bought in lidle, The car was also on the page which i cut out to use on the front of the card.
I used used nestabilities gold majestic circles to build up the back layers but cut them out on a rectangle rectangle piece of backing paper.
The lace i bought in dainty supplies.
The ribbon and lillies came from wild orchid crafts, the stick pin and the gold fan were bits i picked up out and about on my travels but think they were from do crafts.
Thats me signing off again, hope to see you all again soon

Hi everyone...

This is my first post and project for Lacy Sunshine blog.. For August I choose Back to school theme... Using 'Eleanor and Pickles back to school' image... I decided to make a faux book which is actually a single drawer..

Patterned paper from Prima Marketing Stationer's desk collection 'Red Ink' and 'Love Letter'.. Cutting die: DooHickey's Vintage Tag...  Pen nibs from Tim Holtz idea-ology..

To colour the image I use Distress Ink:
for face & skin: tattered rose (with a bit of vintage photo) & worn lipstick for lips n blush on
for hair: wild honey
red colour: barn door
green colour: peeled paint & mowed lawn
brown colour: vintage photo & tea dye (+a bit of black soot for the bag)
blue colour: stormy sky & faded jeans
then put some shabby blue embossing enamels from Stampendous along the edge..

And here's the drawer :D

Good morning

Today is my turn again to show you something inspirational.
Summer time is in full swing so what better than to share with you a flowery summer card.

I have used the lovely digi called Bubbles Bath  and she can be found in the shoppe

I have used the following products :-

The backing card sheet from a Die'sire packet
Papermania dotty backing paper
Creata mirror card
Spellbinders flower die
Sheet of clear acetate
Crafters Companion bubble embossing folder from SLC range.
Sentiment from my stash.
Ribbon from my stash
Butterfly sticker from my stash

I have coloured her with copic markers and added glitter to all the water bubbles.

I have used the embossing folder to emboss a sheet of clear acetate.

The acetate has been stuck to the back of the white card and mirror card and arched the front like a wrap.
I love how this has turned out.

The little white flower has been cut from a spellbinder die and snipped in on one petal and tucked behind the sentiment. A pink flower bling added for its centre.

Thanks for stopping by today and i hope you like my make. See you again soon
