Hi Everyone, I'm Cindy van Oorschot, the newest Sunshine Girl of the Creative Team, and I am so utterly happy to be a part of this exciting team and the adventure with Heather Valentin. Thanks Heather for inviting me to join you.  My first official project as part of the team is using the utterly precious Valentine Georgie as part of the Stitched Collection which you can find in store under the new section.

Here is my project.

It is a baby brag book, a great gift for a grandma, or a new mom. I have made it using a template I found in the Silhouette store. I have used heavier card stock, all covered in designer paper, I have used Georgie as the main focus in the center of a beaded circle die from Spellbinders. fussy cut Georgie out so she sat on top of the circle. and surrounded her in pearls. the book is tied together using some satin ribbon.

to give you a better look of Georgie here is a close up.

This is only one of the great characters that are in the stitched collection, and they are all wonderful for the next kids or baby projects that you need.
See you again soon

Sleepytime Danni

Today I used an image from Lacy Sunshine Stamps, stitched collection 'Sleepytime Danni'
I cut out a castle with my Cameo and then embossed it with a cuttlebug brick folder

To make the bricks look worn, I sanded it with a fingernail file. (this is textured CS with no white core, great for embossing)

Danni is guarding the gate and I colored him with copics

I made clouds with stamping ink and a scallop diecut, the flowers are sequins and I added stickles and glossy accents to Danni

Bettina's Lilybug's Trick Circus Rocking Pony inspiration

Hi Bettina here today. I am going to show you a little make I did with Lilybug's Trick Circus Rocking pony. I decided to go with a centre step fold as inspiration. I love this fold as it shows the center piece off beautifully, in this case our little Lilybug;) Hope you'll like it.

and a little closer look:
I've teamed my image up with some bazill and DP from StudioLight . My lace is from WOC and Kort & Godt. I've coloured her with my promarkers.
Have a lovely day!!

New Beginnings at Lacy Sunshine

Hi all! Aletha here with an art card created with Lillybug Dollie, a digital image from Heather’s  new collection “Stitched.” These images are some of the sweetest that I have seen in a while. They take me back to my younger days and my dolls and all the clothes that my grandmother and mother would make for them. I still have most of them too.

Lillybug Dollie was first colored with Copics. For the background I used PanPastels in Magenta and Magenta Extra Dark. PanPastels are wonderful to work with. You do need to use a fixative on your image when you are finished coloring.

 Copics used:
Skin: E000, 00, 04, 11, 21, R20;
Onesies, Hair Bows, Shoes, and Eyes:
BV00, 11, 13, 17;
Wings and Tutu: V01, 05, 06, 09
Hair: RV63, 66, 69, 91

My finished card is very straight forward with the layering and the embellishments. Heather gave us, the Lacy Sunshine Creative Team, the theme of “new beginnings.” My new beginnings are represented with the die cut flowers. I added a ribbon and corner pearls for the last of the embellishments.

Have you stopped by our Lacy Sunshine Facebook group? If not, come join us for daily inspiration and some fun. We also have a Lacy Sunshine bi-weekly blog challenge too.  You don’t want to miss that for your chance to win these amazing Lacy Sunshine images.

Thanks for stopping by!

Pablo and Lillybug

The image I used is Pablo and Lilybug, isn't this the sweetest?!
It's from Artist Heather's @ Lacy Sunshine Stamps new stitched collection.
I used my new cameo to cut out some grass and also managed to use the negative for my frame.
Have you tried that new textured CS without a white core? Great for embossing, emboss it, use a fingernail file and sand it and you have a cool embellishment!)
I even did a little embroidering on my paper.

I added some more embellishments and a sentiment.
The flowers sentiment and frame are from SU as well as the chevron embossing folder.
