Treacle Toffee Sticky Wings

Hi All, Cindy here with another inspiration project for this month. Fall is fast approaching in my neck of the woods and I have decided to use a project that reminds me of fun times at the fall fairs.

This little lady is called Treacle Toffee Sticky Wings, and she can be found at the shop here.
I have made her 3.5 inches tall, then cut her at 4.25 by 2.75 inches and matted her onto a piece of Real Red Card Stock.
For coloring her I have used copics and a bit of Stardust Stickles for her wings.
Here are the colors I have used.

I decided on a square card, and have used Real Red card stock for the base, which was cut at 5.25 by 10.5, and scored at 5.25. After this I looked in my stash of papers to find something suitable to go with this little gal, and found the papers, which are from the set called Summer Picnic by Stampin Up. I used one sheet of one of the papers cut at 5 by 5 inches for the first layer.
The other two pieces were cut at 1.75 by 3.5 and then matted with Pacific Point card stock pieces cut at 2 by 3.75 inches. I put them onto the sheet at an angle as i wanted some of the apples on the sheets to show underneath the image. I then added the image on top. To accent the pieces I used color dots, which are self adhesive enamel dots and then added the ribbon, but before adding it I had to color it as I only had the ribbon in white, which I didn't want. so I added 5 drops of re inker to about 2 ounces of 70 % rubbing alcohol to a mini mister and then shook it to mix it good and sprayed the ribbon. Easy way of coloring your ribbon to match your project, Waited for it to dry then added to project, you can dry it with a heat gun as well if you wish. Thanks for coming along and hope you enjoyed my project.

Back to School, Welcome Fall, Great time of the Year at Lacy Sunshine!

Even though we're still in August, the kids around here are now in school, the evening air is getting crisp and it won't be long before the leaves get ready to turn.
We're celebrating this time of year with some great fall digital images from the Lacy Sunshine Shop~there are SO many to choose from!!
The one I chose is named Cider and she's sitting in a wooden barrel full of assorted apples-can't you just hear the crack of you biting down into the ripe apple?  I did a 3/4 split on the front of the card, using a double sided fall print.  Then using a cardstock sticker I used it for my front sentiment.  I tried something new this time-I used my watercolor pencils to color the leaves in the set with multiple fall colors.  Then, using a water pen, blended into the dimensional accents you see at the bottom.
Thanks for looking and let us see what you've created!

Sunny Sunflower Pot Pretty

Hi Everyone, Cindy here with the latest post for our blog. we are now into the season of late summer which reminds me of the sunflowers blooming, love those flowers, they get so tall and the bright yellow of them brightens any day. I have chosen to use Sunny Sunflower Flower Pot Pretty, which can be found in the shop by clicking on the link.
I have made this card just to brighten someones day.
I have colored her with copics which the recipe for that is below.

For the card I have used the following.
The yellow base is Crushed Curry card stock .  The blue piece is Pacific Point card stock, . I embossed it with a folder called delicate dots  all from Stampin Up.
I then added a doily, which  I sprayed the doily with Buttercup Sunshine Spray.
The designer paper is also from Stampin Up called Flower Pot.
and to finish off the card I used a couple of flowers from my stash, which I also used the Buttercup Sunshine Spray to color them, and then added a corduroy button to the center, and the sentiment is from the stamp set called Label Love by Stampin Up and punched out with the Artisan Label Punch, which I stamped and punched out twice, then cut the blue one to fit over the yellow piece.
Thanks for looking and hope you have a sunshiny day.

Lil Frolic where's the buttons

Hello everybody, its Sarah here to share my 1st card as a Sunshine Girl.
I personally love buttons so this stamp really made me smile & I couldn't wait to start colouring her in.

I used my Copic Marker pens to colour this image & here is the recipe of colours I used.

I printed the image on to  Card stock & then coloured her in. I wanted the image to be a circle but not actually be a circle so I placed a circle die in the position I wanted & then used a pencil to draw around it & then I cut it out with scissors & then add some Glossy accents to her lips. I used pale blue Pan Pastel to dust around the image to remove a little of the white glare.
I used a Marianne fancy circle die to then cut out the green card stock & Silicone it onto a white 6x6 scalloped circle card. Next I again used silicone to add my image to the card & took a small piece of green ribbon from my stash to tie a knot & add a button, I added my own sentiment added to a piece of co-ordantaing card stock & cut using a pair of fancy edges scissors & then added couple of pearls to finish the card off.
The box was made from white card stock & then I used 3 basic circle cutting dies to cut out the button shape & add to the lip of the box to finish it off.

I loved making this fun card to inspire you & look forward to seeing your creations as well.
Happy Crafting Sarah x
