Super Bows - Super Hero Collection

Hi This is Super Bows, one of the newest characters from Artist Heather Valentin. She is part of the Super Hero Collection and can find her in the shop here.  I have colored her with copics,  and Promarkers which are listed below,  on our new recipe cards.

And here is the finished project.

I have made her into a square card using MDS 2 ( My Digital Studio 2) by Stampin Up. I have used the following digital Elemnts Seam Binding Ribbon, which was recolored to be Daffodil Delight, I have used Label Punch in the program which is like the die, for behind her in Bermuda Bay, I have used Starburst Punch, for the Sentiments, and then I used Extreme Elements Stamp Brush Set for all the elements behind except the little splatter dots, which I used a new too they added into the version two which is a splatter tool . The elements were colored using Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, Tempting Turquoise, and Bermuda Bay.  The lettering was done using text boxes and then I used Gill San Extra Bold Script.

March Winds

Aletha here with a Lacy Sunshine art card. This month the Lacy Sunshine Creative Designers had a theme of “March Winds Blow.” My story behind Crimson Bleeding Heart : “Our Oklahoma March winds blew in this beautiful enchantress and she landed on my Dogwood tree.”  I have wanted to create something with this cutie. I went a little Goth because she seems to have that attitude about her. I hope that you will stop by the Lacy Sunshine store and check out all the images that Heather’s imagination has cooked up.

Here is Crimson Bleeding Heart’s Copic coloring along with Heather’s Recipe Card.

And now my completed project. (NOTE: The image below is a photograph
showing the correct colors. The image above is a scanned image.)

Did you know that Lacy Sunshine has a bi-weekly challenge? Well we do and there is an honor system in place too. We would love to see your Lacy Sunshine project posted in our Lacy Sunshine Facebook group. Hope to see you there.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I will see you again next month. Have a fantastic and creative weekend.

As the Far East Wind Blows

As the Far East Wind Blows an Enchantress  sits with hair blowing and dreams of what the future holds.

This Center Step card was made using the Far East Enchantress by Heather Valentin.
To me the image spoke of elegance, so that is what I tried to portray with this  card.
I have used, the stamps from Verve called Grateful Elegance for the side borders and the bottom.
The sentiment is from a set from Stampin Up called Dream Garden. The image itself was colored using copic markers, and the Roses were from my stash.
Thanks for joining us on our journey as the wind blows.

For Skin:

then colour it using Dylusions Ink-spray (Melted Chocolate & Ground Coffee) and Tattered Angel Glimmer mist (Tuscan Sun) ... then put it under heat gun ..

closer look at the texture.. I love the yellow-pinkish pearlize effect from the glimmer mist :D

then time to decorate :D .. using some cutting dies as follows:

Good Morning!

Denise here with you today and I have chosen An ADORABLE LSS from the Briar Whimsies called 'Poppy Windi Socks'
I colored her with copic markers
We have a beautiful field of poppies on our mountain and they are gold.
I made a center step card but I reversed the folds
Here are some of the supplies you will need
I cut the poppies out of textured CS with the cameo.
If you do your folds opposite of a regular center step card, it looks kinda like a shadowbox.
I made my sentiment with my digital software and punched it out with a frame punch from SU, the butterflies are a punch and matching stamp from SU also.
